*TROUBLESHOOTING NHRA*(Look below to see a list of NHRA's most common problems)

*Game will not launch*

Check your computer configuration. A 4MB Direct3D Video card and sound card are needed. Make sure DirectX 7.0a or higher has been loaded on your system. DirectX 7.0a can be installed by clicking on the "Additional Applications" from the AutoLauncher menu.

*Hard drive light running*

If your hard drive light is running while playing the game, you are using the systems virtual memory. This is much slower than RAM memory. You may want to add some RAM to your system to speed up game play.

*Videos not playing*

You may not have loaded DirectX Media during the game install. This is needed to run the videos in the game. DirectX Media can be installed by clicking on the "Additional Applications" from the AutoLauncher menu.

*Load times*

The first time a new track loads, it will take longer than all subsequent races. Loading the high-res "In-Car Driver" will increase load times.

*Video & Game Textures*

We recommend updating your video and sound card drivers if you experience problems with textures displaying correctly in the game. You can download these drivers from your manufacturers web site. Also, be sure that DirectX 7.0a and DirectX media have been installed on your system.
